Biodiesel Analysis

Biodiesel is a renewable alternate fuel for diesel engines. Biodiesel can be used either in the pure form or as blended diesel Fuel. These blends help reduce exhaust pollutants. Also known as Green Fuel, Biodiesel, helps to improve quality of the environment.
The fuel characteristics of biodiesel are recognized by the amounts of fatty acid used to produce the esters in the feedstock.
There are two types of Biodiesel: Bioethanol and Fatty Acid Methyl Ester(FAME).
TUV India provides a variety of parameters for Bio-diesel testing as per IS 15607:2016:

  • Density at 15 ˚C: ISO 3675/ISO 12185 / ASTM D4052
